We had a great time during our Erasmus+ youth exchange in Poland, which took place from March 30th to April 6th, 2025. The project was titled "Stand up, Speak out!" and focused on the development and promotion of active European citizenship.
Throughout the week, we participated in many creative, engaging, and educational workshops that helped us better understand how we can be active citizens, both on a local and European level. The activities covered important topics such as human rights, democracy, volunteering, and youth participation. Through discussions, roleplays, and group tasks, we explored how each of us can make a positive impact in our communities and beyond.
One of the best parts of the project was the chance to connect with young people from different countries. We shared our ideas, cultures, and personal experiences, which made the learning process more dynamic and meaningful. These intercultural exchanges reminded us of the richness of diversity and the importance of unity in Europe.
Every evening, we enjoyed cultural nights, where each national group introduced their country through traditional food, music, dances, games, and fun facts. These moments were full of joy, laughter, and discovery, and gave us a deeper appreciation for each other’s backgrounds.
This Erasmus+ experience was truly unforgettable. We left the project not only with new knowledge and skills but also with new friendships, inspiration, and motivation to stand up and speak out for the values we believe in.
