A word by Tamara, aged 23:

From April 20-28 this year, we participated in the 'Young Digital Guardians' project in Zakopane, Poland. As this was our third project, we thought there weren't many things that could surprise us, but the opposite was true. We were a little scared at first, but we quickly realized that we were in the right place and could make meaningful connections. Everything was suddenly easier and much more fun when we got to know everyone. Even the weather got better during the week!

Our topic was digital technologies, and what I remember most is our discussion about how, why, and for what we use our phones. It made us realize many things about our time spent on social media. We really questioned ourselves about what our bad habits are and what we would like to change. We also experienced 24 hours without phones and came to many conclusions, for example, that we really don't use our memory when we always have a phone with a camera in our hand.

And what are the other benefits? You should go on an Erasmus+ project to find out. Not only will you learn new things effectively and differently than you are used to from school, but you will also meet great people from all over the world, eat their traditional food, get to know their culture, and make unforgettable memories together.

For instance, when we went on a hike to Morskie Oko, did research in Zakopane, or were "just" learning how to fly a drone. That is the outcome of the project for us: a memory that will never fade and a realization that will always help us later in life.
