We always love to visit Romania. This time, the project's topic fully allowed us to be one with nature. Read more about our recent trip to Traisteni.

In the Erasmus+ youth exchange called "Green Skills," which took place between May 10th - 18th, 2025, in Traisteni, Romania, we had another opportunity to test ourselves and gain more insight into our own lives through the lens of eco-friendliness.

The project's main focus was to educate us on sustainable living practices that we could then use in our everyday lives and share within our communities. The goal was to apply these skills not just in theory, but also in practical parts of our lives where we might not have considered them applicable.

Throughout the exchange, we measured how much we pollute our environment by mapping our eco-footprint. We then found ways to combat that by brainstorming options for sustainable future goals. We educated local youth in their high schools through eco-friendly workshops and surveys, and we also visited a social enterprise that gives a second life to used electronic equipment, which goes hand-in-hand with the circular economy.

Participating in this Youth Exchange also provided us with information about non-formal learning activities, and our efforts were recognized during the final Youthpass ceremony.
